59 Segundos

WHEN A MESSAGE NEEDS A STRONGER VISUAL LAYER
59 Segundos is one of the most iconic programs on public television, hosted by Gemma Nierga, where experts and analysts tackle the issues that matter most to citizens within a strict time limit.

RTVE wanted to elevate the format by making the information more visual, more dynamic, and more immersive. That’s where we came in: adding augmented reality over live footage to enhance the message with data, visualizations, and contextual graphics—without disrupting the studio’s flow.

THE INVISIBLE, NOW ON SCREEN
At Acid Drops, we developed 3D content integrated into the real-time broadcast image to strengthen the program’s message. Graphics, data, and visual elements were designed to support the experts’ discussions without distracting or breaking the narrative. Everything was produced in collaboration with WTVision, fully integrated into RTVE’s broadcast workflow with technical precision and editorial flexibility.

WE DESIGN INFORMATION THAT MOVES WITH THE ARGUMENT
Our task was to develop 3D assets ready to be deployed over live video, optimized for broadcast systems, and adaptable to a variety of debate topics. Each visual was crafted to be clear, elegant, and editorially respectful with a clean yet impactful aesthetic.

Another example of how virtual production and augmented reality go beyond fiction to transform how current events are communicated.
